The Hoi An Memories Show is an outdoor night show staged on Hoi An Memories Land, an island in the Hoai River next to Hoi An Ancient Town. The operator says it tells 400 years of Hoi An's history in 5 acts, on a 25,000 m² stage, with nearly 500 professional performers. Vietnam Tourism, the national tourism site, gives the same stage size but says more than 500 actors and dancers.
The same island holds the Impression Theme Park, where smaller shows run in the hours before the main one. You can buy a ticket for the park on its own, or come for the show.

What you see
The operator says the show first ran on 18 March 2018 and that an upgraded version opened in January 2025. A girl weaving cloth acts as narrator and leads the audience through moments of the town's history and a love story tied to the area. Vietnam Tourism's page says the show begins in the 16th century, with Hoi An as a rural village.
The operator also says the stage is the largest of any live-setting show in Vietnam and the cast the biggest, both recorded by Guinness Vietnam. That is the operator's claim; we did not check it with Guinness Vietnam.

Hours and fees
The operator's ticket guide says the show runs Monday to Sunday except Tuesday, from 20:00 to 21:00, about 60 minutes. Its October 2026 calendar marks no show on Tuesday 6, 13, 20 and 27 October. Vietnam Tourism also says every evening except Tuesdays.
The start time is where sources split:
| Source | Main show | Theme park |
|---|---|---|
| Operator's show schedule page | 20:00 to 21:00 | Mini shows 17:00 to 20:00 |
| Operator's ticket guide (October 2026) | 20:00 to 21:00 | More than 20 mini shows, 17:00 to 19:00 |
| Operator's 2026 price list image | From 20:00 | Opens from 16:00 |
| Vietnam Tourism | 19:30 to 20:45 | Opens at 17:00 |
All three operator pages agree on a 20:00 start. The price list asks you to check in 30 minutes before the show.
The operator's notice sets 2026 prices, in force from 1 January 2026, per seat:
| Seat class | Adults and children 1.4 m and taller | Children 1.0 m to under 1.4 m |
|---|---|---|
| ECO | VND 600,000 | VND 300,000 |
| HIGH | VND 750,000 | VND 375,000 |
| VIP | VND 1,200,000 | VND 600,000 |
Local residents pay less: VND 420,000, 570,000 and 1,020,000 for adults. Children under 1.0 m go free, but you collect their ticket at the counter. The price list image adds a rule: each adult can bring at most two free children, and from the third child the adult rate applies. The same image prices the Impression Theme Park at VND 100,000, or VND 50,000 for children 1.0 m to under 1.4 m.

A 2023 article on the operator's site said a show ticket also let you into the park free. The 2026 notice and price list do not say either way, so ask when you buy.
Which seats? The ticket guide counts about 2,088 ECO seats, closest to the stage. There are about 764 HIGH seats, set higher with a wider view and no roof. The 136 or so VIP seats sit at the top, fully under the roof. The hero photo above shows a performance in heavy rain, so if rain is likely, the roof is the difference you pay for.
Getting there
The island is about 1.2 km in a straight line from the Ancient Town's map point. The operator says it is a 10-minute walk to the Old Town and 40 minutes by car to Da Nang airport, which is about 24 km away in a straight line. The closest airport to Hoi An guide compares the options.
The price list gives the address as 200 Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, Hoi An Ward. The site footer gives a different one, 88 Tran Quang Khai, Hoi An Dong Ward. Use the island's name in a map app.
Our take
Book any night but Tuesday and plan around the 20:00 start that every operator page gives (Vietnam Tourism's 19:30 is the odd one out). Want the mini shows too? Get there by about 17:00, which falls inside every opening window the sources give for the park. In the wet months we'd pay for VIP, the only class the operator describes as fully covered.
