VinWonders Nam Hoi An is a theme park run by VinWonders, part of the Vinpearl Nam Hoi An resort complex on Vo Chi Cong Street in Thang An, Da Nang City. The area was in Quang Nam province until it merged into Da Nang. The operator puts it about 15 km from the center of Hoi An Ancient Town.
Da Nang's tourism department wrote in April 2018 that the park, then called Vinpearl Land Nam Hoi An, would open officially on 28 April 2018. The photos on this page date from January 2020 and still show the old name. The same 2018 article gave the park 62.4 hectares. The operator's 2026 guide says over 50 hectares. Both describe the entrance the same way: 12 giant ships moored at the gate.

What is inside
The operator's guide lists five zones:
- Harbor Corner, the first area after the gate, with a riverside old town styled on Hoi An and a street of Western buildings.
- River Safari, a zoo you see from a boat. The operator calls it Vietnam's first and largest river safari and says it keeps 550 animals of more than 50 species, including Bengal tigers, white lions, sun bears and rhinos. The 2018 tourism department article counted 39 species.
- Water World, with 11 rides on the operator's main page, including the Dragon Slide: two enclosed tube slides 120 m long and 12 m high.
- Folk Culture Island, with houses from the north, center and south of Vietnam, craft workshops and folk singing.
- Adventure Land, with more than 20 thrill rides. Next to it, the indoor games zone has more than 95 games on the main page, nearly 100 in the guide.

The operator lists ride closures for maintenance on its notice page: in October 2026 the Lost Valley ride in Adventure Land was shut from the 12th to the 17th and Galaxy Spin on the 19th, with everything else running as scheduled. If one ride is the reason you're going, check that page the day before.

Hours and fees
The operator's park page gives 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and 9:00 to 19:00 on weekends. Its ticket page, updated in May 2026, says 9:00 to 19:15 with last entry at 18:00. An October 2024 notice set the weekend close at 19:15 and stopped the evening shows on weekdays.
The 2026 ticket page sets these prices, the same online and at the counter:
| Ticket | From 140 cm | 100 cm to under 140 cm | Aged 60 and over |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | VND 650,000 | VND 450,000 | VND 450,000 |
| After 2pm | VND 450,000 | VND 340,000 | VND 340,000 |
Children under 100 cm go in free. Seniors show an ID or passport at the gate. The ticket covers all rides and zones except extra paid services, and the operator says prices may change with the season.

Getting there
In a straight line the park is about 13 km from the Ancient Town's map point and about 36 km from Da Nang airport. The operator's May 2026 bus guide lists a free shuttle. From Hoi An it picks up at Renaissance Hoi An Resort at 09:00, An Bang Beach at 09:10 and Hai Ba Trung Street at 09:20, reaching the park at 09:50. From Da Nang it leaves Melia Vinpearl Danang Riverfront at 09:00 and arrives at 10:10. Both return at 18:00. The guide says the schedule can change and seats are limited, so call 1900 6677, extension 5, first.
Our take
We'd go on a weekend afternoon. The after-2pm ticket saves VND 200,000 per adult, and on weekends you still get the 3D Mapping and fountain shows. On a weekday the park shuts at 18:00 and there are no evening shows, so the cheap ticket buys you only a few hours. Coming for the River Safari or the morning shows? Then the full-day ticket and the free shuttle make more sense.
