Vietnam airports by destination, with the nearest scheduled-service airports, straight-line distances and source limits for planning a route.

Vietnam airports sit at very different distances from the places on our map. Con Dao, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc and the Mekong Delta have one within 10 km, while Sa Pa's nearest is 135 km away and Ha Giang's is 197 km. This table lists the three nearest airports with scheduled service for each destination, by straight-line distance from the map pin.
The data comes from OurAirports, which is public domain and offers no guarantee of accuracy. Distances are straight-line, not road distances.

The northern mountain destinations are the furthest from one. Sa Pa's nearest airport is DIN at 135 km, and the next, HAN, is 238 km away. Ha Giang's nearest is HAN at 197 km, then DIN at 257 km.
Phong Nha has VDH at 35 km, but the next airport, VII, is 141 km away. Ninh Binh's nearest is THD at 65 km. For these places, expect a long ground leg after you land.
The pages for Sa Pa, Ha Giang and Phong Nha show the same airport rows next to each place.
Several pins sit close to one:
Da Lat, Hoi An and Da Nang, Quy Nhon and Nha Trang each have an airport 23 or 27 km away. Straight-line distance tells you which place is closer, not how long the transfer takes. The Phu Quoc page has more on the island, and the Vietnam travel hub has the full map.
The list says which airports have scheduled service. It does not say which airlines fly where, how often, or on which days. Check an airline or the airport for your dates.
Road and rail distances are longer than the straight-line figures here, and the table has no transfer times or ticket availability. A second airport in the list is not automatically a practical alternative, so check the route before you plan around one.
